[Symphonies, Others & Vocal Music]

Symphony

7:08

7:18

6:42
I tried not to take this project too seriously. I Made the first Movement typically classical. The Andante is more serious; it has more jarring chords and Romantic/Impressionistic melodies. The Presto is more typical of a Haydn Symphony.
Violins 1 &  2, Violas, Celli, Bassi, 2 Flutes, 2 Oboes 2 Bassoons, 2 Horns, Tympani

I have an interesting ability to compose music of all genres. I really had to study up on this one to make it sound Jazz-like.  I did this one for a friend...He better like it!  I may do more.

The words to this are from one of Shakespeare's darker Sonnets
6:20
This song is very thematic! It is comical and expressive. The words are, again, from one of Shakespeare's Sonnets.
9:56
This part of the requiem begins with a solomn-like approach,  immolating the anger and deep reality of death.  A dark tone, often concealed, carries through the first 8 minutes until it erupts, with the crescendo of a tympani, into a rejoiceful acceptance that slowly evolves throughout the last minutes of the song.  The style has somewhat of a prelude and fugue setting. The "Prelude,” which repeats,  ends about 5:30. The fugue-like contraption states its theme in the strings and constantly stops in the end of the exposition to introduce it to the Choir. Both groups meet together to the "end" but are left unsure of what is to come later in the Requiem.
